A second overview of our trip, but this time in Black & White. I love black and white photography because the absence of color removes the actual experience just enough from reality to nudge the image into a world all its own. Most of the places we visited definitely felt worlds away from our everyday life. It was truly an adventure!

Selfies/Selfeet: Venice
Feet Portraits in Venice: the Grand Canal on the corner of Fondamenta Salute (first 3 photos), steps down to the Grand Canal near the Rialto Bridge, a small canal in a part of Venice I don't know the name of and probably could never find again.
2017 Adventures: Europe
Two weeks of adventuring in Europe = a photographer's dream come true.
A lot can happen in two weeks! There is so much to share that I'm not really sure where to start, so I'll try giving you a quick summary of our adventures through photographs: wandering around Rome in the rain, climbing all the towers in Florence (and some how not dying), twisting and turning through Venice, wandering through London in the rain, going on the London Eye, visiting Stonehenge, "Tea for Two" at Edinburgh Castle, visiting the St. Gile's Cathedral, exploring the Glasshouses in Edinburgh's Royal Botanical Gardens, standing amazed at the scenery at Glencoe in the Highlands, gazing out on a tranquil Loch Ness, and going for a foggy hike near Loch Ness.
